March 31st was our annual social bowls day for all the club members, just to have a great get together and enjoy a load of fun. It started early on Sunday and it was a perfect day for our social. Many of the players where new ones and a great time was had by all. A huge thanks to PP Wally for arranging it and new friends were made and lots and lots of laughs all around. A fantastic braai was arranged by PP Johnny Van Niekerk and to assist him was Danie Van Niekerk and great boerie roll and chicken sosaties were produced much to the enjoyment of the crowd. We had eight teams of six players who had a great time. I had not laughed so much in a long time and fun was had by all.
