About Goodwood Rotary

A passionate group of motivated business and retired men and women, who decided to give back to the community they live in. We strive to make a difference. Anyone who shares that passion, is welcome to join in and become part of a great team.

Goodwood Rotary club was charted on March 1959 after their first meeting took place in September 1958.  We have been around for 60 great years helping in the greater Cape Town district. We have been around for major projects and have been assisted by businessmen like Raymond Ackerman. A book was written and distributed worldwide to every Rotary club, around the world. This book ( South Africa, Who Cares) was written to promote Southern Africa and the great work being done by our Rotarians.

Should you also have a passion to get involved, please join us at our meetings once a week.

Want to know more? Please join us for a meal on Thursday lunch times, and meet our dynamic group.

We meet once a week on a Thursday, at lunch time at 12.45 for 1.00pm and finishes at 2.00pm at the latest. The Goodwood Sports Club on Milton Road Goodwood.

Our Mission:

This self-motivated group of down to earth people, with similar visions, set out to assist and help the needy in our society.  Meetings take place on Thursday lunch times and we normally enjoy a meal together and discuss our current and future projects. Evening meetings, every second Thursday are without any meals. We use this time to network with each other to benefit the projects and build connections in our business world.
